Benefits (Wellness)

Wellness Programs aim to lower health insurance costs by focusing on prevention. Studies on the effectiveness offer mixed results, but it is intuitive that by staying healthy there are fewer claims, which leads to lower premiums. Current health care reform legislation has an emphasis on prevention and wellness. Wellness addresses the mind as much as the body. Several studies illustrate a positive correlation between Wellness Programs and employee morale and engagement.
